A Taste of What's To Come . . .

A slight change to what we normally do now that we have access to all the Wychwood Brewery beers, we will be offering Marston's Burton Bitter and Wychwood Hobgoblin as our permanent ales and offering an additional guest ale each month, with two ales in December...

September to December permanent ales
Hobgoblin by Wychwood - 4.5%
Hobgoblin is a ruby coloured beer brewed using chocolate malt and crystal malts. This gives the beer both the dry biscuit flavour with the elements of chocolate coffee from the chocolate malt, and the sweet toffee flavours from the crystal malt. Hobgoblin is hopped with Fuggles hops in the copper which provide a full, robust, almost marmalade back ground flavour, the addition of Styrian Goldings and a small amount of fragrant US hops at the end of the boil produces a delicate floral and citrus flavour.
